Owl Always Love You Valentine's Day Party

Owls are so popular right now and I'm a sucker for any play on words....loved this party idea! This collection by Sweet Craft Cakes is styled with pink, red, white, polka dots, and a sweet owl. They made a ribbon back drop and used a pale pink tablecloth. For the Valentine treats they had cupcake sandwiches, chocolate covered oreos, dipped pretzels, red velvet cupcakes, sweetheart cookies, and cupids punch. The apothecary jars were filled with gum balls, Hershey's chocolate kisses and m&m's.

Welcome Baby Ainsley!

I have know Ainsley's mom since she was a child and was thrilled that she allowed me to do her baby announcements! Congrats....what a lucky baby she is to be a part of this wonderful family!

Last minute Valentine idea....

I had every intention of doing some fun valentine treat to go with the adorable photo valentine's of the kids.....of course, time got away as usual! This little project took less than 1/2 hour start to finish and they are SO yummy!!! Better that I didn't make them earlier, or I would have eaten them ALL! Package them up in a cello bag with some ribbon and voila....your friends, family and neighbors will be thrilled to be on your Valentine's Day treat list!

1 package oreo type cookies
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 lb dark chocolate, shaved
1/4 pound milk chocolate, shaved
Valentine's Day Sprinkles

Melt your chocolate in a double boiler. Lay cookie on a fork and dip in the melted chocolate. Set on a silpat liner and pour on the sprinkles. Refrigerate until set. Bag and bow!
